Who we are

Tolbridge Technologies is a technology consultancy based in Abuja, Nigeria. This policy explains what happens to personal information you provide through this website.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us. If you submit the contact form or book a discovery call, that means your name, your email address, and anything you write in the message or booking fields. If you include a phone number or company name, we hold those too.

We do not ask for payment details, identity documents, or any special category data anywhere on this site.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange and prepare for a call, and keep a record of our correspondence with you. That is the whole purpose.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry. If we ever offer a mailing list, joining it will be a separate and explicit choice.

Legal basis

We rely on your consent when you submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to and managing business enquiries. Where the Nigeria Data Protection Act applies to a request, we handle it under that framework.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months so we have context if you come back to us, then deleted. Records relating to actual engagements are kept for as long as we need them for contractual and accounting purposes.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and infrastructure providers process data on our behalf in order to run this site and store submissions. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

We do not share your information with anyone else unless you ask us to, or unless we are legally required to.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and nothing here profiles you or follows you to other websites.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. It is off until you say otherwise: the first time you visit, we ask, and if you decline or simply ignore the question, the Google script is never loaded and no request is made to Google at all. Your answer is stored in your browser so we do not ask again, and you can change it any time: the link in the footer showing whether analytics is on or off puts the question back, in one click.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects the pages you view, roughly where you are in the world (country and city level, not an address), and what kind of device and browser you use. Your IP address is used to work out that location and is not stored by us. Google acts as our processor for this and holds the data for 14 months.

It also records some things you do on a page: how far down you scroll, when you follow a link off to another site, and whether you started and finished one of our forms. That last one tells us how many people begin the booking form and give up, which is how we find out it is too long. It records that a form was started, not what you typed into it. We use all of this in aggregate and do not try to identify individuals from it.

How we protect it

Submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored on access-controlled systems. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. We apply the same practices here that we recommend to clients.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or withdraw consent for us to hold it at all. Email us and we will action it, normally within 30 days, and we will not ask you to justify the request.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date below. Continued use of the site after that date reflects the updated policy.
